Hey guys,

it is hard to describe why we do certain things, or choose a path, follow another direction or wanna go somewhere. I would always say: "Do what your gut tells you; listen to your heart and follow your instincts. These are never the wrong one's to trust."

For me what I would have never imagined is that I visit one foreign place three times in my life - and that in not even 4 years. My favourite place of the next holiday - starting in 5 1/2 days - is Wilmington, NC. I am calling the USA - especially North & South Carolina - my HOME from HOME. It is just the feeling you get, when you go on the road and feel "just" happiness. It is there without asking for it, the feeling just flows into your body & that is pure fortune & luck. I love that feeling. That is maybe a reason or the best reason for me to visit a place again. -> the overwhelming happiness.

That's what we are doing - my friend Patricia and I. Thank you for taking the ride with me again! :-)

Great Smoky Mountains

Already a year ago and still that clear in my head. Great memories all around the Great Smoky Mountains region - especially in Franklin, NC.

Travelling without a "navi"gation is one of the best parts about driving in the US. Sure you know, where you wanna be in the next few days and weeks, but you have always to chance your way, take a smaller road or the highway, but you can always chose at the moment. GREAT!
